Doctoral degree (PhD)
Are you interested in pursuing your own project and exploring a topic in linguistics in greater depth? Graduates who have completed a master’s degree have the opportunity to pursue an individual doctoral degree (PhD) at the Dahlem Center for Linguistics. Supervision is provided by a member of the Center who is authorized to supervise doctoral candidates. Interested applicants are invited to contact a suitable member directly with their project proposal.
All administrative questions can be clarified with the responsible examination office. Which examination office is responsible for you depends on the institutional affiliation of your supervisor.
