We will take you on a journey through the linguistic world of Czech. Along the way, we will explore its typological profile and history, its orthography, phonology, syntax, morphology as well as its links to Berlin. There will be stops to explore the intriguing sound of ⟨ř⟩, to discover famous loanwords such as robot, and to appreciate the declension system that might keep you awake at night (in the nicest possible way!). What’s more, you might even learn a Czech phrase or two.
